Le Ripe is a 100% international wine, produced, however, on the beautiful hills surrounding our capital city. We are in Zagarolo, where the climate is Mediterranean, with mild winters and long hot summers. Here, on the gentle hills that the Federici family has been cultivating for over two decades, the Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes used to create this elegant red wine grow. After vinification, this wine is left to age for 6 months in steel and for another 8 months in small wooden barrels. The result is a glass of intense ruby red colour, with aromas reminiscent of berries, violets, spices and vanilla. In the mouth it is soft and fresh, naturally endowed with good balance and body. Warm and enveloping, the correspondence with the sensations perceived previously is complete. Try it with tasty first courses, dressed with meat sauces. Excellent with stuffed pastas and the classic Sunday lasagna.
